My journey into health and well being started back in 2000 - I found myself working for a very difficult boss, needing to escape and find calm I discovered a Pilates class near by which I took religiously everyday.  My strength, control, balance and posture improved no end ! The job however did not last long but the love for the discipline of movement only grew stronger which lead to a change in my path and I qualified with BASI Pilates in 2004. I am now fortunate enough to have a cosy garden studio to call my own where I teach both mat and equipment sessions. 

Combing Nutrition coaching with the Pilates has been my most recent next step in my journey. Although being fit and strong it has been an ongoing battle with my body shape and weight which finally brought me to the brink of near depression and my daughter asking me if I was pregnant (arrgh!) that gave me the kick I needed to finally get it sorted.  

It turned out I was missing some serious GOOD bacteria in my body that helps with the process of proteins to amino acids (long story) and riddled with parasites! And so my cleanse and restoration of a healthy gut begun. 


Being truthful - It has not been easy - my family have found me very testing at times - but it has brought me to a place where I have so much more energy,  no more restless nights sleeps, no more flagging in the afternoons and no reaching for a coffee to get me through the day (or a slab of chocolate) - sound familiar ???  So I have done the hard yards and am here to assist you step by step with your recovery to a life be that through Pilates to rehab an injury or to strenghten and tone or Nutrition coaching helping you along your path to a life that you can enjoy to its fullest with youthful energy and vigiour!
